Maintaining good eye health is a partnership, and we encourage you to ask all your questions and share your health information with us. Your health history could be crucial to monitoring, diagnosing and treating potential vision issues.

Dr. Christensen decided in high school she wanted to be an Optometrist. She was one of nine students accepted into Villanova University’s seven year accelerated pre-Optometry Bachelor of Science program in 1989, the first year it was ever offered. She graduated with a B.S. in Biology in 1993. She then attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now known as Salus University) located in Philadelphia.
In 1996 she received her Doctor of Optometry degree, as well as an award for excellence in Low Vision Rehabilitation. After moving back home to New Jersey, she went on to work at two Ophthalmology practices for ten years, where she gained extensive experience treating patients with glaucoma, cataracts, corneal disorders, and fitting all types of contact lenses.
In 2006, Dr. Christensen moved to North Carolina with her husband, Gary, and son, Ryan. After taking some time off to raise her son, she returned to Optometry in 2008. She had her second son, Sean, in 2009, and has been able to work part time as she enjoys raising two boys. Dr. Christensen and her family live in Cary, NC.
Originally from Pine City, New York, Dr. Krempecki graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. She completed her Doctorate in Optometry at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her post-graduate residency at Child and Family Optometry in Wichita, Kansas, specializing in pediatrics and vision therapy.
Dr. Krempecki believes that all children should be given an eye examination at an early age to prevent, diagnose, and treat any further complications that may arise from uncorrected refractive error, childhood pathology, or binocular vision disorders. Through proper eye care, she will have the opportunity to impact the social, academic, and emotional welfare of the children she examines. She enjoys pediatrics because her work along with others will have long reaching effects into their success as adults.
She recently married her best friend, John Krempecki, who is also an optometrist in Fayetteville, NC. Her hobbies include traveling, baking, and dancing. In her free time she enjoys scrapbooking, watching Golden Girls and spending time with her family.

Heather is married to Brian Breedlove and when not at the office she adores spending time with him, cooking, running, and traveling.
